I was referred to this excellent site by one of the members from the Eastern Bloc site http://www.red-alliance.net .

There is really very little interest in WW2 Airsoft in the US and so I don't get to use my impression too often.

My primary impression is an Oberscharfuhrer from the Engineering Battalion of the 33rd Grenadier Division of the SS "Charlemagne" (not pictured)

I look forward to getting tips and recommendations from you gents

just in case anyone is interested in any of the bits I purchased there, all the repro stuff is from China and the rest is BRD/DDR stuff.

The entire M-43 Drill Camouflage uniform was purchased for something like 35USD plus shipping (which was a lot...), the helmet was 40 (again, plus some insane shipping), breadbag was 20, MP-40 pouches were 30, helmet cover was 10.

I got some of these from an eBay seller by the name of "chinabest2006", which is rather silly sounding, even more when you see his motto :P

The rest were purchased from either the local surplus store or from an online forum.

However I would fully recommend "chinabest2006" if anyone is interested in some German stuff, but on a discount. The only problem I have had is the need to resew on a few buttons.

i've found the same with chinese gear. They can manage seams but not buttons for some reason!
