Hello,
I am looking at getting into Airsoft, and I am keen to get to an event in the next few months. I have basic American Infantry kit as I did a small bit of re-enactment in the past. Are you guys planning any events down in the South West? Anyway look forward to speaking/meeting you soon as I find the WW2 Community to be very friendly and full of information
Regards
Adam
Unfortunately although we have growing numbers of us in the West country, we aren't organised enough yet to sort out a game here. Plus everyone else would moan about how far they have to come.
Not sure how many people we have in Devon (if any). Theres a small group in Cornwall and we have a few in the Bristol area.

Good start to get a generic US inf loadout there are plenty of games this year featuring Yanks.
I think you may struggle to get a game in Devon as there are not that many who live that way. If you can travel there is usually overnight camping available at most events at the Kasserin Pass game you don`t even need a tent as there is inside accommodation to sleep in.

Hello and welcome
Travel is an inevitable part of the ww2 airsoft scene but that's not a bad thing as you tend to know the local airsoft sites and its way better when you go to a new site so that you don't know whats round the corner ,helps get into the spirit .there's a growing American faction and plenty of games for them as well so get booked on asap and get started.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Hello and welcome,
As Dadio says, travelling is something which goes with the territory I'm afraid. There aren't billions of games so to attend events you need a to bar mobile in some way. Having said that, the central of gravity does seem to have shifted south in recent years and there was a decent turnout in South Wales for the d day game last November.
