Hello all,
My name is Martin Morey from Luton, Beds. I recently left the Royal Air Force Regiment after 6 years service and i am a veteran of the war in Afghanistan.
Now that i have the time and freedom to do things with my life ive been looking for a new hobby for myself. My friend Stuart (member of this forum and veteran WW2 Airsoft player) got me interested in the world of WW2 Airsoft. Im attending my first event on the 3rd of May (San Marino) and i really cant wait. Ive been scoping out kit as you do and hope to get into the whole thing as best as i can. Look forward to meeting some of you at the events.

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."
Welcome mate!
Thanks all...
I've decided to sell 500 quids worth of snowboarding gear to help create a budget for buying airsoft kit. Should help to start myself off.

hello and welcome
San Marino should be a great starter game ,when it comes time to start buying kit it's always worth asking the forum where to get the best kit and best deals ,there's plenty of pitfalls of wrongly made or poor quality kit so always ask , virtually nobody has perfect kit first day out and there are plenty of people willing to lend stuff to you at you'r first event's so have a look on the kit loan thread for the game and put a word in about what you might need .

Yeah, that's a start...! To save wasting money on incorrect kit (and some of the sellers do sell some junk), feel free to ask the old hands on here before you buy.
Welcome aboard!
