Hello everyone,

After trying out airsofting in a very patchy way years ago I'm finally able to commit to getting into the hobby in a more serious way, so I'm looking forward to getting involved in the near future!

I've got the skeleton of Allied and Soviet impressions in the making, so hopefully I'll be able to take part in some games soon. Any advice for a newbie just starting out would be appreciated.

Have a search round the forum, there's lots to discover, and welcome!

Hello and welcome,

Only advice i would say is keep your kit generic as possible. Standard British Infantry, US Infantry and German Infantry means you will fit in every game.

Hope to see you on the field.

Stu

Thanks for the welcome!

Good tip Stu, I should be able to throw together generic British or American loadouts already.

Another question - are there many opportunities for using the WW2 kit much outside of the dedicated/pre-planned WW2 events?

Liam.

Most "Open Day's" allow what ever uniform or weapons you have as long as the weapons are in the site limits which is normally 350 for an AEG.

the best bet is to get to a game or two and see if you like if it grabs you then go for it :)

often folks willing to lend out a bit of kit if needed :)

The Pacific game has an odd spot free if you free that day we may be able to kit you out a bit if needed
