Welcome. What sort of reenactment did you do?

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Nice to know I'm a target already
I've done viking for a few years, medieval 15th cent and Landersnecht for 22 years. oh god that sounds like a prison sentence.
Not sure which side yet. German for a while, cos I have flectarn mod kit. And my mp40 just arrived. However I'm thinking partisan french if I can find my old ww2 french helm.

Heh... an old WW2 French helmet... would be interesting to see that on the airsoft field!

Just cos all you have is an MP40 doesn't have to stop you playing allied you know...

That's a few years doing medieval... please remember that airsoft is a non-contact sport/hobby :)

No worries on the contact thing. I'm still getting used to not seeing the sod who killed me :? At least toe to toe you get a nice personal maiming
I can't bring myself to be a yank, and I HATE the battle dress for Uk forces. Not enough Russian games yet to do that. So partisan looks the way forward at the mo.

Ah... but wool is soooo woolly... mmmm...

Believe me, you get to love to feel of wool... the comforting itchyness... mmmmm...

It can't be as bad as plate or chainmail.

Anyway, you must be used to wool already! :D

Heh... Just remember.. British kit was the most advanced in WWII. The German kit was mostly from the previous century!

Battledress was based on the skiing suits of the time..

:)

Maybe but we look a lot smarter!

Welcome Kroot. Going French would certainly be different. Nice to hear you could be interested in some Rusky kit too Comrade, the eastern front needs more support :good:

Cheers guys.
Yes I'm used to wool, nice to escape it for a while.
As for the battle dress, a picture of my dad in the Suez invasion is for me proof I would look a total tit

Head still spinning?

Thanks ZB. Problem on the transport front. I'm a life long non-driver. And I have to work Sundays. Means if I want to do Worthing or Dorking I will have to book holiday :(

Well seeing as how you are practically next door I was going to offer you a lift, but the Kubelwagen has a strict "kein garlic-muncher" policy :D
