I don`t think you need to apologize for your bad english, at least you can converse in a second language which is more than a lot of Brits can do including myself. Whilst the english channel has been a barrier for us against invasion over the centuries, its also made us into a bit of an isolated nation as far as picking up a second language is concerned
yes instead of learning a new language most british just talk slower and louder in the hope of bieing understood

We'll we'll be stuck trying to converse My English is better than my French, which is considerably better than my German, I reallly need to start on my brain washing learn German cds again I've just been so busy with other things, I should really have it on in the background rather than the tv
