hi

ok go number 2 as typed this all out and the forum went down  :(

hi i am a 38 year old airsofter in the midlands (cheslyn hay) who plays at fireball in brum :) and looking to get into the ww2 scene (no shock as i am here). Hoping to make the oct 18th my first game if i can convince 1 of the drivers in our team to come as the 2 of us that are keen are non drivers :(

i have a few of questions if i may , firstly was trying to do the german ss on a budget (tried that for vietnam and failed as well) and it says get the oak A smock but think i made my first booboo as i went to spearhead and bought http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT a blurred edge one is this bad

next up are these any good as they are cheap and that worrys me lol but i love pea dot http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

and lastly the AGM mp44 are they good to go out the box ? as always wanted a mp40 but drawn in by the mp44 now.

many thanks inadvance and hope to see you on the field in oct :)

Welcome to the forum CJW. Sorry to have to make you retype - I took the forum offline for a spot of quick maintenance just at the wrong moment for you!

Nowt wrong with blurred edge smocks in general, so no worries there.

Without commenting on quality or accuracy of dot repro you linked to, you may find that choosing a late uniform (especially something distinctive like Dot44) MAY limit the games you can play at as some have dress codes accurate to the period depicted.

The MP44s are cracking bits of kit. Initial run was rather hot out of the box but I believe newer version have a more sensible power.

Hiya.

Hope you can make it to the Op. Alsos game. There are limited places so get in early to avoid disappointment :D

If you're getting an STG44 please take Chommer's advice and make sure you get one that's not too hot. The site we're using for the October game is partly CQB so there's an fps limit. To buy a gun and then not be able to use it for your first WWII game would be annoying to say the least.

Blurred edge camo is absolutely fine. A late war Waffen SS Hunter Battalion would have been quite a rag-tag affair so a good mix of camo will look great.
