I've been lurking these forums for a while, so it seemed a good idea to sign up and interact a little. You'll probably encounter me most often in General WW2 or General British & Commonwealth forces sections, since my interest is mainly in Brit and NZ related WW2 airsoft.
Pleased to meet you all.
Dan.

Cheers, guys! Hopefully I will get to meet at least some of you if there are any events I can make it to during my trip back home next year!

Sure is a nice place, didn't appreciate it when I first got out here, but once the predictable teenage homesickness passed, I've hardly looked back; definitely wish you luck with your aspiration to move here!

I just re-read this and realised that would be Chris/Chaos, we are buds from way back, he's pretty much Auckland's WW2 and Vietnam airsoft guru- we have a funny system here with airsoft weapons (much like anywhere else these days), so we can import pistols ourselves, but only retailers or club armourers can bring in rifles, in order to make sure that they have had the full auto disabled. I plan to get a Thompson one day, but in the meantime I'm getting an MP40 via Chris, who is ASA's armourer; it should go ok with my LRDG kit, and some kind of SOE variation which I hope to make of it at a later date.
