Hi there, i'm Steve, new to the world of ww2 airsoft but not airsoft!

Im 20 years old from Dundee/Perth area in good old sunny... Scotland. I have been airsofting since late 2007 and finally been convinced by Warren (yes the S&S guy) to go back to the past.

I will be starting my new life off as a Heer German Soldier using possibly the field Green or Grey as a base and build up from there.

Also planning to buy myself a Tanaka Kar98. Like to think im not a bad shot so might as well.

Haha he does!

Thanks for the welcome.

Does this loadout sound ok?

Grey M36 Tunic
Grey M37 Trousers
Grey M35 Helmet with Splinter Camo Cover?

The rest is gear as shown on the Kit Guides.

I do look into ww2 stuff alot, but never sure about dates they were used etc. I just fancy something Mid War and very basic looking.

Sounds ideal. That will work for any eastern or western front game for any period of the war. :good:

Probably a better place than to post here, but...

Would i be better getting either a Green M36/37 Uniform, or a Grey one.

I noticed that one of the events says feild grey but makes no mention of the green one.

The reed green HBT stuff is summer uniform. Both would be OK but the wool uniform is more iconic. TBH the wool on the Spearhead replicas is so thin it's probably not much hotter to wear than the HBT.
