Hello & Welcome.
Hoping to go to Canada this summer, although She Who Must Be Obeyed might take a dim view on me lugging my airsoft gear along
Cheers

WOW that's a really interesting story. I have family friends from St.Johns - but ur a first here, even though your an 'American' eh
As for buying in UK to export to the other side of the 'pond' - what were you interested in - weapon wise?
I think a lot of UK airsoft sites appear to be setup for UK sales only. Some of which have actually taken ages to realise that there are re-enactors, who have a defence to purchase and don't 'follow' the airsoft business sellers UKARA registration have now updated their sites to allow for this.
However, they don't seem to list exporting. I would suggest contacting the appropriate websites sales team by email and ask if they export. Depending on what your after, you could possibly buy from internal to USA or Hong Kong?
Del
If you are wishing to buy stuff advertised in this forums for sale area I don't think there is a problem as long as the seller is happy to send to the US/ Canada.
As JD7 says contact HK direct like many of us do via RSOV, Gunner Airsoft or Ehobby Asia etc.

Yes, I did see a couple of guns advertised on here. The M1 Carbine for one and I would also like to buy one of the M1 Garands. I don't mind paying the shipping and have purchased many other items from UK over the years. We have a lot of folks here making M1 Garands out of M14s, but I really don't care to go that way.
Oh yes, I would take one of the M1 Carbines even with a damaged/broken stock. Same with the Garand.
Ah I suspected that was what you were after and yes our purchasing laws would not affect you, the only thing that may be a slight problem is your customs maybe. Some may be concerned about them stopping the item due to it not having red paint on the barrel or some other legal problem.
I also find the cost of postage to the US from the UK to be quite high and over the years have lost a few items never getting to their destinations on cheaper ship transport options, which has either left me or the recipient out of pocket ![]()
I get a lot of people in the US asking me to make stuff for them but I don't like the postage cost and risk these days or have the time.

Yes, I can't remember the regs for the US, but maybe some dayglo tape around the end would do?
Interesting about Newfoundland, one of my wargaming pals lives in St Johns, ex-Canadian Army and Newfoundland born and bred. He gets a bit huffy when people talk about Newfies
My only experience of it is flying over it, and it always seemed to be covered in snow and ice!
