Hi Everyone,
New to ww2 airsoft, really impressed with the depth of content on the forum,!
Really eager for my first game, interested in the german units so collecting bits and bobs
Started with a tan and water smock, anyone got any tips for a non-gas kar98k?
Thanks

If you want a non-gas Kar98 you'll need to build it or have it built
Forgot to say, welcome Kamerad!
welcome to the forum. if your looking along the lines of a spring K98 i think Dom at vintage airsoft should be able to help you.
Current ww2 armoury
King arms Thompson, ICS M1 Garand, ACM ZB28, ICS M3 Grease gun, ACM M1918 BAR, Kjw M1911, 2x WE Highpowers, Kwa Tokarev, Webley VI, PPS Bazooka, AGM STG44, Custom M1919 .30cal
Thanks for the info - i want to get myself to a game as fast as possible so maybe i will go with the gas kar98, unless anyone has any other suggestions in terms of low cost weapons for a heer loadout?

In terms of outfit, if i turn up in a smock, gray wool trousers, an m42 cap and some boots - will i get turned away from the game?

Hi Bart; welcome to the forum!
In contrary to what you may have heard elsewhere, the games organised here are designed to be as inclusive as possible; none of the organisers are 'stitch nazis' so you needn't worry if your kit isn't 100% correct
Many people will also loan kit, so if you need a piece or two for a specific game, then post up in the kit sharing thread and most of the time someone will have something they can lend to you.
Welcome! Why don't you join the game on Saturday. I gave a FJ kit... If you fit in it.
Yeah, no one's going to care if your kit isn't 100% button perfect. It's far more important to bring a friendly attitude and just get stuck in. If you don't have any kit we'll always sort you out.
willkommen
Best advice go generic infantry kit get other stuff later. Everyone wants a spring K98 but they are not off the shelf items. Go for a AGM MP40 about £90 from Tiawan airsoft in Poland good for every game including captured weapons.
Have a look at the Keroman game we have Uboat space available at the tunnels in Portsmouth kit for that is cheap and easy look at the kit thread inside the game.
most of all get to a game
Hi Bart, welcome to ww2 airsoft.
Excellent advice from Hanschen. Get yourself an MP40, it's a cheap, reliable and iconic german gun. If you're your happy working in a squad and following orders, I'm sure you'll have a great time, it's airsoft but not as you know it! Coming to a game on your own can be a bit daunting, but you'll find we're a friendly bunch and there's always guys willing to lend stuff for a game.
So I'd say get along to a game and see if you like it.
Thanks for all the replies, all really helpful
I think tomorrow's game might be a bit of a stretch but definitely will attend the next one
Now to sort out a weapon
Any other events in October/November or not until December now?
Thanks
