my name is greg cottee,i run the living history field at the war and peace show and admin on the psst. re-enactors forum.i feel that that airsoft and re-enacting are getting closer ties now and have come over here to to show my appreciation and hope i can learn a lot more..
i re-enact 82nd 505th airborne(all american pathfinders)
and i re-enacti 1st SS L.A.H. with the second battle group too.
hope to lern a lot more...
Welcome to the forum, there are a few re-enactors on here now, some of our regular players do re-enacting too, ww2 airsoft is good fun, beats all the modern stuff

ahem.....
I was out Airsofting in WW2 kit before ever getting into Re-enactment. Don't do it any more though, no time with all the re-enactment events.

I used to reanact for the ACWS i met the WW2 Society at the yearly kirby hall english heratige site.
a great bash.
high rick..good to see yer on here mate too.....my airborne boys are getting into airsoft as a way of improving tactics and training in the field...
The good thing with airsort is you normaly know when you have been hit, as you will see when you look around there is a good variety of ww2 weaponary, the M1A1 thompson is my fav, the new M1A1 from China is pretty good for the price too, the ACM mp40 is nice & too & all metal, as the VCR bill only came in a few days ago it will take a while to sort things out but if your a re-enactor / skirmisher you should not have problems obtaining weapons, I guess in the next few weeks things will smooth out
