Ok gents , have drawn up this . Think husky played in a triangle rather than linear .
Cracking the German initial defence will be the main one , hence the large amount of mortars rounds and little else .
Player numbers look more balanced but well need good NCOs on both sides to keep lone wolfing to a minimum .
comments thought's etc ?
Map , player and ours.

Nice and simple, I like it! Lots of scope for "filling in" by organisers. Might I suggest, given the number of players, a lower ammo limit?

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
That's great.
Couple of points:
1: Allies are no longer outnumbered, do we need to consider that?
2: Advertised game-on is 11am.
3: I don't think the Allied maps should be in Russian! ![]()
4: Do we want to consider a lower ammo limit? 400? 300??
5: It might be worth putting some OP and scouting elements into the plan on the Allied approach to A to.
6: We're missing a large section of the site out of the plan to the NE section of the map. Perhaps we can include a sub-plot in there, mortar rounds perhaps to intel that needs to be retrieved? We could even make the head of the valley in the NE corner point A with a fall back to another point.

numbers, yes we need to consider that and act on our feet . There will be hares and tortoises so we need to cater for this hence not deploying all Germans from the off .
Lower ammo limits ....will anybody take any notice there was a distinct lack on it at the last event Sunday . We have a lot of newbs as well . Happy to say 300 , can we enforce it though, also it means more walking too and fro to regen to reload ?
The basic mission is there for you to interpret as a commander, yes I would expect you to scout / skirmish, as you will expect me to do the same
Bearing in mind historically the Allies are assaulting a known defensive line ( as recce'd by countless Spitfires etc) I don't know what benefit OPs would give you other than to use time but fine by me .
Basically what I have in mind , Allies come out over the hill over the safe zone and get faced with a strong defensive fixed line that they cannot flank but have to take the hard way with artillery and pushing forward. Think partly WW1 . These defensive lines held up the allies for months , some reflection of that would be good rather than just running 50 m out of line of fire and rolling up from the side.
Once we are past the main line , then it will more free form . My biggest worry is that we'll get fuckers doing their own thing like we had at Nebel .....basically big clusterfuck of lonewolfing . to get around this I think we need to keep them pretty much bunched together under people we can trust to hold em together .
Yes, that last point: I'm struggling to think of a good squad leader for the US. Yith's the only one with decent experience, but his propensity to argue over rules and petty points (like a tabletop wargamer) troubles me. I need to have a think about that.
Re: Ammo limits on the Sunday at Borys - we probably should have reminded people, though riflemen were sharing their ammo with auto users, so it balanced a bit. Let's give it a try and amend if necessary.

Yes I've notice that as well . The german side is a little better with anthony and steiner , plus plan on giving Seidler a go so with three plus jay and I reckon should be ok .
Might be worth PMing possible first or asking for volunteers?
This from Seg:
Hi Stephen
looking forward to the event. Do you need to come down to do a further recce? we have expanded the usage of the site and there some other excellent areas to play in
regards
Tony
Anyone up for going?
Unfortunately my weekends are booked out between now and October 15th, so I'm not going to be able to make it.
