Got a bit to do with this impression, needs new bayonet and a few other bits and bobs, i shant bother reblancoing the webbing pea green though..

Insignia will obviously have some plain serge tacked over, I'm not unstitching it given how tidily Sian put it on.

Blimey! What's with the Hetfield 'tache?! Kit looks good, especially with the jerkin.

Looking good, though if I may make an observation , isn't it puttees not gaiters. I will post my impression as soon as I can rope someone in to take piccies. I can't decide whether to modify the collar on my badged '49 battledress or take the badges off my '37 .

Looking in Brayley the stretcher bearers in there have puttees on with their kilts.

Also you'll need a pair of red garters for your socks... I have some you can borrow or failing that Sabre Sales sell them.

Looks good!

Its not tied because it at the moment doesnt have any ties on the bags. I'm not convinced its particularly low though.

Now is probably not the time to warn players that the site is famed for it's brambles, nettles, thistles and ticks.

Personally I think its because i'[ve got mkiii pouches on with mki's it would look higher. I have it roughly in line with the pocket flaps if anything its one or two inchs lower than the pic in the brayley.

I've got the same book remember Rich.

Yup... that would only account for about an inch. So yes, that is something to take into account, but I reckon it could go a bit higher. :)
