I noticed Skirmish Magazine has an article on a WW2 Bersaglieri unit that might be worth grabbing.

http://www.skirmishmagazine.com/product ... gazine-104

To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"

Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.

Resistance is fertile

In case anyone didn't see it in latest acquisitions, the Bulgarian m51 helmet contains asbestos, so controlled removal is a must, needs to be disposed of properly (not in normal bin and for god sake don't burn it, the fibres travel)

I have been looking around for another source for this, but have not found one yet. I will ask around.

But simple enough to remove.

Very, and gives more head room too, well I have only worked with white, not the blue it seems. Didnt examine too much but it seemed to have the usual properties, for all I know it might not have been, but is it worth taking the risk? Helmet s great though :D

hmmm, unfortunately no. The pouches are all over the shop on ebay and through Zib Militaria. but Zib are out of stock of the shoulder strap, and I haven't found any kicking around on ebay.it this morning.

That shoulder strap is probably the most elusive object I've ever searched for!

Hoping it wont have to be a bodge :slap:

yes. I spent the morning hunting around places. They do come up on ebay, but just not at the moment.

At least it is not an absolute neccessity - some did forgo them as an inconveniance (even easer as our pouches do not contain metal bullets). I'll ask around some of the Italian knowing places.
