No but KDs, wools, scrubbed webbing and the No 1 Mk III.

Hurrah, permission granted to Mix'n'Match.

:happydance:

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

I seem to recall it was the red army that got spanked at fist of dust.

Anyway this has made me realise that I have a shame full lack of knowledge about the Italian front. Especially in relation to a British infantrymans kit. I could always go as a yank I spose.

That was probably my fault again.

 No need to be rash.

I think you'll have all you need for Italy although - depending on units involved maybe not the denison and get a Mk 2 helmet. But having said that Anzio last November was Italy and although historically inaccurate there was a large airborne contingent, as we both know. The fun of Italy is you can wear other bits too without it being wrong. Many of the troops came on from the fighting in North Africa and desert equipment and clothing came with them and were often worn in conjunction with standard NWE wool battledress. And with it being in August there is always the hope that the weather will be that bit warmer than November and the wool trousers can be left on the hanger.

Being a natural scruff I quite like the non-uniform uniform look of Italy.

Ask away in the the British section and we will be happy to help. The short answer is any combination of BD, KD, and Mark II helmet you like. If you want something more specific it gets interesting.

Hmm. Well I haven't yet had the opportunity to fight in just battledress yet so that will be the most probable option. And I already have a mk 2, just need to get a liner for it that actually fits my head. Anyway I'll definatly start looking into this properly over the coming weeks. Nothing like an excuse to buy more kit. ;)

Its a secret mission event (roleplay) and although historic in time and place, not based on a real mission so I would be happy for a unit of Brit LI to be one of the brit units. Come up with a good unit idea and let me know. Originaly I wanted to go with an Idependant company theme, so what ever you liked but thought I would keep the units right even if the game isnt.

Ill get loads more info up after cold war next week. :good:
