Theres no way i'm going to be able to afford to buy some Corcorans in time for the game. My only option is to wear some tan modern boots. They are very plain looking, is this going to be okay? :?

I don't see that it'll be a problem - i'm going as german and will be wearing british leather assualt boots instead of proper german low boots...

Your feet are paramount to the enjoyment of any combat game guys. Black leather are fine, just no modern desert magnums please;)

I use black magnums on my German load out as my ankle can't take anything else plus you don't notice them when you put the gaiters on

Mine are Magnum Tan Boots, like i said they are very plain looking and are very good for my dodgy ankle. If i can't wear these i'm pretty much stuffed, will these be okay?

I'm really worried about this as i just can't find any corcorans that i can afford. I know the rest of the kit is shiny new but give me 20mins and i'll be covered in mud. Are the boots alright? I know it's wrong and i don't want people to get wound up with me for not having good enough kit. Believe me it's not through lack of trying :(. I'm even shaving the beard off tonight.-- attachment is not available --

I think I'd get more wound up about the US flag on your arm!

Don't stress chum, all anyone can ask is a player makes an effort. Generally speaking WW2 airsoft games aren't all about stitch-perfect kit - getting into the vibe and the mindset is by far the priority. And anyway, you look just fine, dirty up the boots if you are really bothered (no one else will be).

Have a great time and forget about the uniform - you are on the front line now and preserving your life is more important than parade-perfect kit!

Thanks chap, i'm finding out that everyone here seems to have a really great attitude. I thought the flag was right for the 82nd? If not then my mistake, i'll gladly whip it off, it looks like a massive target to me anyway.
