i read this magazine called the chap, ive posted off topic about it before
in the magazine, they ask for a reader to be photographed holding a copy of the "chap" in a dangerous place!!!
my idea is this, a few jerrys (myself being one) with hands raised, whilst a couple of British "Chap" types have them prisoner, whilst one chap smokes a pipe whilst reading the magazine.
the winner of the prize each quater recives a case of spitfire ale
for this to work, id need 3 or 4 guys with appropriate gear to help. (who woulndnt be bothered appering in a small circulaion national magazine) if the photo was lucky enough to get in.
i definatly wont mention CIA / Airsoft at all,
ill just send the picture with a caption something like, "after rounding up jerry, our chaps like to catch up on the news"
and only send my personal details for contact. (in event of winning the crate of ale, it will be saved for the next CIA social for all to share)
im pretty sure they will go for it, but i must stress again, if your interested in helping, it may go in to print
If this ideas a "NO NO" from the CIA group as a whole, im happy to can it, but i do think it would be a laugh

I can't help thinking it might be more fitting if you have a couple of brits reading the magazine (with pipes etc) who are oblivious to a hored of armed germans standing behind them rather than have the germans surrendering. 
sounds great. 2 oblivious brits and several germans behind them
if we get the people to do it, we can all discuss the best scenario on the night

I think lardassmonkey has a good point there. What could be more stiff-upper-lip than partaking of tiffin - whilst reading your periodical - as Jerry is attacking your position.
It simple wouldn't do to let "the german" (as Monty would say) upset a Gentlemans refreshments!

i was worried this wouldnt get off the ground, people can be funny about appearing photos,

on a note, they say "photos with a real spitfire take preferance"
we dont have a spitfire, but we are in period dress,
usually its pictures of people in dinner jackects, holding the magazine in Yemen, cuba or iraq
i think the "officer type" would go down well with them

instead of just having attacking huns, why not have brit ORs and huns in hand to hand fighting, whilst the ruperts are sat looking the other way drinking tea and reading the mag?

How about a full scale battle going on around the wooden toilet, smoke and all sorts with somebody sat with his trousers around his ankles reading the mag

i think Porta did a pic for - crap mag, rather than chap mag !!
it was remembered and then forgotten again...
