HMM, last two games held in Wales by CiA - Bryansk - great weather, wet but also a great weekend - Churchill's revenge - preparation is a great thing.

Apologies, didn't know Bryansk was in Wales. Never the less. Churchills Revenge was WET with a capital W and E and T.
Preparation is a great thing...but sunshine is better

I was thinking of running a book on the weather conditions as this year it's been the worst.
Will not be bringing my jeep if its heavy rain again.

I have a modern armoured gunsheild for my works van,

it can be mounted on a 4 leg 360 degree stand, (kneeling height or 6 feet tall) i have all the bits for both

with sandbags or on a trench top it could make a good postion

you would just need a 1940`s period mg to drop in it.

if you want me to bring it allong i will. (ill need to repaint it though so i need a few days notice)

here some pics, it may be a bit to modern for ww2 though, but if its any use at all your welcome to borrow it for the event

Thanks Porta but this site is just too steep and hilly for a transit, plus with no defined roads it's going to be very difficult to allow moving vehicles safely.

We're just trying to work out how to incorporate Oddball's tank in the game as a static objective. Any movement will be in a very controlled, marshalled fashion.
