Gadge & Yith are arguing. Rich went ahead and booked the FSA site for Oosterbeek without clearing it with Gadge. Gadge has a gig on the day before and doesn't think the site looks like Oosterbeek so ain't happy - and he thought the site was poor on Sunday and even complained the railway track looked like a dry river! Rich I think is stressing 'cos he will have to write the game tree/scenario.
Hence I thought I'd just ask the question of you all just in case there is an opportunity to go for the September date when hopefully more players will be available. If it happens then we can move quick!

nah it's worth thinking about , althuogh the numbers of booked players may make changing hard .
Can't do any other date in September other than the 26th. So it's either August Bank Holiday or Sept 26th for me, and only then if I move things around.
The end of September is often quite warm, so I don't foresee a problem with the weather. Remember, D-Day was in November and it was fine then.
If the option is cancel the event or move it to the 26th, I can't see players having a problem with that. We can deal with any cancellations by issuing a refund, or allowing new bookings to pay direct to the cancelling party.

DDay was south wales ...I know GC well, late September it will be 85% foul , cold and wet .
TBh a lot will depend on when IED can let us have it .
Feck the weather - its punters we want. Guy, could you check the 26th Sept weekend with IED ASAP please, I think this is going to blow and we need to get moving quick if it does.
All we need to is put up an announcement to say we are replacing the PBI event date with ours in the hope that more people can attend than on the August Bank Holiday, which was a muggins choice of a date anyway. Anyone who can't attend the new date we deeply apologise and will get a refund (there are only a few who have paid anyway).
