A fictional skirmish set against the backdrop of Operation Nordwind

Operation North Wind (Unternehmen Nordwind) was the last major German offensive of World War II on the Western Front. It began on 31 December 1944 in Alsace and Lorraine in northeastern France, and it ended on 25 January.

For this scenario a small team of British commandos have been sent in to insert a radio listening / intercept station to support the French and American troops.

In a briefing at his military command complex at Adlerhorst, Adolf Hitler declared in his speech to his division commanders on 28 December 1944
"This attack has a very clear objective, namely the destruction of the enemy forces. There is not a matter of prestige involved here. It is a matter of destroying and exterminating the enemy forces wherever we find them. The question of liberating all of Alsace at this time is not involved either. That would be very nice, the impression on the German people would be immeasurable, the impression on the world decisive, terrific psychologically, the impression on the French people would be depressing. But that is not important. It is more important, as I said before, to destroy his manpower."

This game will be held at Elite Action Games Worthing on Saturday 13 th February 2016

Game price will be £25 per head
There will be no camping available but if necessary we will provide details of a local b&b

This game will be inclusive with look alike uniforms and guns
300 rounds per life
Medic bandage rule
There will be a pause for lunch but we will be eating in the field
More details will be available to all players soon.
