I don't know if any fellow jerries will be interested in this, but I scanned this out of one of my books. It's a spread on Germen Offensive squad tactics. The best bit was the last para on the next page - "Although grenades were best thrown from behind cover they could be used on the move. In circumstances where showers of grenades were needed the order 'Handgranaten' from the squad leader would prompt the men to throw." Sounds like fun!

Well looking at the booking thread German coming along nicely. I am still in the throws of getting a couple more to come (2 Definte just have not booked as they are on hols)

Are we going to be able to make up some squads? How many per squad and troop type SS Heer FJ etc?

Hmmm. Methinks we may have to (as I believe Churchill did) consider the of mustard gas and Greek fire!

Clear off our thread, Allied Schwein!

In answer to your question Gordon, I'm sure we'll be working with some kind of squad structure.

Now Fremsley, do you remember what happened last time you decided to charge at me at Cassino?, you could always transfere to the 3rd Reich to avoid it happening again!

"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

OK had a go at the MG34 look a like, stress ,that as it only cost me some paint a bit of pipe here and there and some effort. At least we will have something in our section to fight that Vickers and Lewis Gun
Enjoy :good:

I wish that I had the time and money as in the MG34 thread at the moment but for a Tenner it will do for this game.-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

That is most impressive, you'll have people wanting plans of how to make one of those.

Thanks guys I know it is only look a like but hey does the job.

Jimbo I would have like to have put the real drum mag on but I managed to put something reasonable on. Any guesses what it is

Hmm under close examination maybe a paint tub with straws glued to the side? It's really hard to say, but I see why you didn't need the drum mag, I dont think yours detracts the look of the weapon. As they say it's not what you've got, it's how you use it!
You'll have to have a look at the Lewis and Vickers though as there's ideas that you guys can both share.

Can`t wait.

Now the drum mag is a 100 DVD computer disk spindle with wooden skewers split in half glued and painted
:giggle:
