As no one has started a kit lending thread yet I thought I'd start.

I've got nearly enough German gear to equip a mate of mine who's coming, but if anyone could lend him Y straps, helmet and a gasmask container, that would be great.

I've got a rash of Brit helmets to lend. A full BD set and webbing. No gaiters but some puttees. I've also a RAF service dress if anyone fancies being a downed F/SGT although its not really built for chucking yourself around fields.

I also have some leather gaiters and a 1903 pattern belt if anyone needs a hand donning as the homeguard.

Fremsley if you could bring any spare kit that you have inc the helmets, it will help for those modern airsofters that are coming in civve gear as farm hands etc, to have a tommy pot would be a big help. One or two of my modern lot are giving it a go, and one of them is bringing the big generator that we're using to power the hog roast girls. It's all swings and roundabouts
Speaking of which as the pig takes about 6 hours to cook and so will primarily be for the evening, the lasses are spit roasting chickens during the day and doing tasty chicken wrap type things. They will aslo be doing breakfasts from appx 7 am on both Saturday and Sunday :good:

Will do Jimbo.

Just remembered I have a No 4 (T) look alike if anyone wants to borrow it. Does anyone have a Webley/1911 that i can borrow to go with my RAMC officer loadout?

Cheers Lads - i'd like to borrow Both 19111s if poss.

Where would i get the ammo for the blank firer from?

The fake no4 is i believe a VSR in disguise - not sure of its distance - but you are more than welcome to use it. Its got a scope fitted so you'll be able to judge. If i am running about curing the sick my sten will also be free to take on the hun.

:good: If you like it you can buy it as I have been planning on selling it.

Any gun or field sports shop should have them, 8mm Parabellum like these: [link]http://bbgunsuk.co.uk/xcart/catalog/8mm-blanks-p-16458.html[/link]

Oh and bring some earplugs, they are Feckin loud! If you like it you can buy it as I have been planning on selling it.

Just had a thought, maybe we should start a "For Sale at Sealion" thread for anyone who want to trade stuff!?

MMMMM very tempting - I'll buy a bunch of blanks.

I've got a bit of kit that needs to go - so sounds like a plan!
