I'll add that to the mountain of kit I'm bringing with me,I'll bring German kit too in case you are desperately short of Germans though I will be in Home Guard kit preferably.I've spoken to your piper and will be lending him a full Gordon Highlanders loadout ,its badged 1st Lieutenant so he has no option but to lead from the front

Yep booked as well. I'll be in my RAMC Major loadout (just got off the boat from Dunkerque/Bordeaux), so i'll be there to patch the Tommies up and take potshots at any Hun that start menacing.

Lewis guns, Vickers HMG!! I think I better finish off that Stuka I'm building in the back garden. That'll sort out those dug in tommy defences
Looks like we Germans are up against it with these great guns the Tommies Have. Currently making a MG34 Good Look a like to beef our section up. Pics when done.
The fantastic thing with both those guns, is that they are both M16's complete with bottom feed mag, ris rails and everything. Instead of spending a year thinking about it, he built it in a week. It's plenty good enough for this battle.
Well, I'm interested in coming to this, just have to decide which side, I have german rig but am thinking of going as a 2nd Battalion South Staffords Instructor with the local LDV, with a badged BD to look good in the bar after all the fighting is over.

Why not play as a german and drink as a Brit? The German side is decidedly low at the moments so it would be great if those who have the option to, go as german. It'll be a much better game if the sides are more balanced and besides, it's always more fun playing the bad guys!

True, I've got Gebrigsjeager kit and an MP40 so could go as that, I've got boots and gaters though I could do with getting some Jackboots and some other little bits of kit to finish off the impresion to a happy point.

I'll get an idea of numbers up tomorrow when I check with the ranges and would appreciate as many Germans as possible to even up the sides and give a good skirmish for all. Excellent idea for swapping sides for the evening drinkies and social.
I wont change sides in the evenings, I'll drink with those I have fought beside all day, I'll check with OC Homefront first but put me down as German for this, it's only little bits that I was going to be getting anyway, my combat kit is all sorted.

I'm hoping to be sporting the all new Sturmpioniere look for the day game but fell I should resort to Feldgendarmerie in the evening in case any of the locals think of mis-behaving

I should be ok thanks, It's just little things like another belt for down the bar in the evenings, and wound badge etc for my tunic as it looks a bit bare at the moment and it has been used a few times now so I could do with putting something on to mark that, no eastern front ribon as according to this that has not even happened yet, any ideas though where I could pick up a cheap pair of marching boots?
