On the day you will be split into two assault sections.
I will be asking for volunteer sections leaders on the day. Or if you would like an early promotion, volunteer now.
If you have a WW2 support weapon please bring it along (only if you want to). Brit or German, we can use captured weapons. As we could use a heavy weapons team.

Hi dear sir I have a 30 can with a tripod if anyone wishes to use it.
It does need two on it to move it.
I'll probably bring it anyway with plenty of other spares.

Got the Vickers 303 here if it can be used, bit of a beast to move, but hasn't been used in a while.
Also got the PIAT if that's workable?

Yes but it takes two to move it.
I won't to see how good it runs as I've had it for over a year & never fired it in a game.
The only firing it's done is when I replaced the original parts inside the mag as the original one wasn't feeding properly but it's all up to the job now.
I think I have spare batteries so it can be used all day.
I must stress again that it's a two man job to use & carry.
Well that means we as in the Airborne squad will have a support weapon.

Not that I would want to give away plans in advance, OpSec and all that but there will be times during the event where support weapons will be a good thing to have. The commandos have a brace of Brens which will probably equate to one that will survive both morning and afternoon 
Whilst I know the vickers and the 30 cal are cumbersome beasts, they may suppress those pesky mg42 gunners.

They usually take moscarts with a foam rubber dart, but we do have some tag rounds we'd like to trial it with...

Yeah that's fine. I've used one before. We had 3 guys moving it and made a great team. I have enough guys this time as well. But like you say, see how it performs first
