yeah, i'll just use small ones. In fact, battery connectors would be perfect as they lock together so the cable won't accidentally come apart.

That sound like an excellent idea for the cables, it also means you don't need to carry anything to cut the cable with (we had to use a bayonet!).

It didn't help that we allies didn't know where the phones went to, so we just phoned it up and made silly german 'allo 'allo voices at whoever answered! 
when you guys were busy messing about with the phones the rest of us were getting stuck in, in some pretty 'danger close' zero visibility firefights hehe! 
I will remember the Germans taking back the laboratory as one of my finest moments in airsoft. Textbook assualt and capture. Anyway, we digress.....
