Looks like a non starter. I may have to cancel as I have to pay for the site and not enough players.
I will decide at the weekend. Such a shame. I won’t bother again if that’s the case.

I think a problem with this date is that it clashes with a long established Vietnam event on the same weekend; 15/20 community regulars had already booked in for that event before your event was launched.

A fellow organiser did warn you of this clash in the private organiser forum.

Hi me and my son will be booking on ,however an extra 2 players wont save the event at this stage i expect.
Will be a bit fed up if Segs events go as its a good day out.The only ww2 events i seem to be able to get to,all the others are allways
fully booked so i cant get a place,
Require special kit i dont have.
Are a very long way to travel
Clash date wise with somthing else i am committed to.
So basicaly does not look like i will even make it to any ww2 this year
:?

I too, like this site, and the games that seg organises, I can't believe that everyone else is going to the Vietnam game, surely the numbers could be up a bit, but having said that there's always a lot of other things to do on weekends!
My WW2 event participation will suffer if this site disappears off the scene, just about the right distance for me to attend, I'll have to visit when the "modern games" are on I suppose.

I hate to see WW2 games go by the wayside especially as there are not enough of them in my mind

Unfortunately some of the things that Kingmakers says about distance etc have to be considered. Our group initially were going to come you cant beat a WW2 game and the site is good played there 3 times, BUT we noticed it is on a Sunday. That is a big No No for us.

I don`t mind staying in a Travelodge etc the night before but its too much having the game on the Sunday haveing a 4 hour drive back then 5am start Monday.

Sundays are Generally not a good day to put an event on.
