Training day Feb 10th 2008 @ Phoenix - yes or no thread

Hi all

Reviving this thread now we've undergone our reconstruction.

This is now confirmed as sunday the 10th of feb 2008. We have been kindly given use of Phoenix airsoft woodland site(Big thanks to Chomley ). Directions are as follows from phoenix's website.

From junction 29 M1 head on the A617 to Mansfield. Pass through the village of Pleasley (watch for speed cameras). You will come to a roundabout at which you will need to take the 2nd turn on left, sign posted Shirebrook, 100yds on the right is a turning into Pleasley Vale Business Park, so take it easy.

Follow that road until you hit a security barrier with a lake on the right hand side,

Book in at security.(Well, press the Intercom button and tell them you're there for Phoenix).

To get to the office turn right after the first building (just before the snack wagon), turn right behine the building. Phoenix's office is through the green gates, and up the stair. If you get lost ring Dave (07787 781181) and we'll send someone out to find you.

Start time on the sundays 10am finish time is 5pm. And they have very kindly said we can sleep in their building the night before if we like(would highly recommend this as its great fun), Chomleys finding out what time we can get on site saturday. Let me say it again we WILL be sleeping in a building. No tents required!

The site has running water, toilets, and a building we will sleep in as we wont be able to get on site until after the open days finished.

Numbers arent really important, its more for us to learn a few basics, and build up a bit of a bond togther. if we can hit 10 that'd be ideal. if we can get more that'd be even better. Stubblehoppers kindly bringing along some germans to train with and some people who can help train us. So we're all confirmed and set to go. Cost is £20

As well as the training Stubble has planned we're going to setup a shooting range with a variety of guns so people can try some guns they'd not normally get a chance too and get a feel for the different weapons.

If you have anything else you dont mind people having a go with on a bend it mend it basis let us know and I'll add it to the list.
