What's everyone bringing with them for the training day, just so I can get a mental picture of the squad(s).
I'll have my trusty (that's a laugh!) M1 with me.
I'll be bringin' my TM thompson, or as i like to call her Betty. 
I'll have a thompson, m1 carbine(if syd shows up, if not then a springfield 1903), winchester trench gun, my trusty revolver, and my high standard hdm
You see I'm swithering whether or not to take my M1 Carbine, too. It's another gun, though, and I am doing public transport...

Bringing a Thompson M1A1, M1 AEG and a 0.45
I intend to use my thompsom mostly I'll also be bringing my grease gun, (and maybe my 1903 & M2 carbine).
I've said elsewhere I'll hopefully be bringing the 50 cal, but thinking about it I'll only bring it if it'll be of use during the training sessions, so can someone let me know if it'll be of use otherwise I'll leave it behind.
as we'll be ambushing, and defending a static position at the end i expect it will be useful pete. i know webbys bringing the 30cal
Agreed - for the afternoon battle it may be useful, no point lugging it up there in the morning.
(There is a flight of steps leading up to the woodland site that will kill off the unfit amongst you. Well, exaggerating a bit but the advice is don't carry unnecessary kit, or at the very least redistribute loads amongst the men!)
Ok, providing it'll fit in Barrie & Anne's car I bring it along.
Two emplaced guns and a rifle squad? Fantastic. Hopefully we'll have a realistic weapons mix for the squad, too.
