Here is something I thought I would share and I never thought I would handle let alone own. A pair of WWII SA Union army boots. Just need a polish. The tops look unworn though the soles show they were.

Very similar to the Australian WWII boots I would think.

The rest of the post is just of interest.

These are some SA army 60's boots much like the Brit DSM boot, though quite scarce.

These are what I normally wear in games as they are cheap and easy to come by; a pair of modern SADF boots. The lower ones are a not often seen pair, as they are a dark brown in a game they double well for black boots, just missing the toe cap (like the Canadain WWII boots). Also I have a pair of black post office worker boots which are similar to the black DSM boots, but some of our terrain is very rough on footwear so the SADF boots mostly get worn. Some guys in fact cut them down like the shorter middle pair.

Can you post a pick of the sole of the Union boots.
They do look very like some Swedish 1945 dated boots I had.
I am interested to know just how similar they are.
