Another Iron Eagle event, but sounds a lot better.
(Also one for CiA organisers to bear in mind - i.e. so we don't clash events, or run one too close.)

Gunman is a live action company that has a ton of kit and props to help dress there events. THIS INCLUDES COSTUME HIRE for those that dont have any. Both Axis and Allies uniforms and weapons availible! The event will feature a beach landing, para's dropped behind enemy lines, a host of linear based missions for both sides and the very best in Marshaling and refing.

Why do I have this image etched into my mind..... Allied landing craft on the beach, and MG42s ripping into the occupants! Unlimited respawns for that, I think.

We've got two kinds of IRON EAGLE, small LARP events for about 35 players fighting against crew and Battles, loads of guys and a ton of pyro.
All IRON EAGLE battles will be limited ammo and non rattling mags:) with the execption of Support guns that can use high caps, or limited rounds for a box mags. We can also supply all the kit if you have nothing, we really do have a ton of stuff. Its all about the grit not the game as far as were conserned!

As CW says, we are "in discussions" at the mo , but hell the event is 7 months away so early days yet .

Having said that only support guns can have hi cap mags, that means that those of us that have got the shoot and scoot sten wont be able to use it, as it has a rattling hi cap, yet its efective mag size is only about 30rds(Going on Baldricks, mine has still to arive) befour you need to "shake and rattle" and do a bit of winding.
Is their any way to relax this rule in the case of this gun?
(Altough it would be nice to have a Commando thompson for this event)

Myself and tomk should be coming down on the 12 of may, just waiting for the confirmation from work, they are changing the holiday system yet again.
Right sounds good but i have some questions that i would like answering please.
Firstly how old do you have to be, is it a RP Game or an airsoft game with WW2 Kit and objectives, and on the website it has an october date for allies and a june date for axis are these the same event as this and why does it say axis game and allies game ?

Quite apt really, seeings as the welsh coast, especially the gower peninsular, was used for landing practice.

The first two events are IRON EAGLE rp games. 35 player experiences with crew! The Nov game is war with pvp action. loads of missions and objectives to complete. Ordance maps will be used by both sides to co-ordinate attacks. More to follow.

Age limit will be 16 for all IRON EAGLE events and under 18s will need a parent or gardian to sign the booking form. Good question!! cheers

Having spoken to josh at gunman yesterday he is fine with stuff like the sten with an internal mag, its things like external hi cap mags that he doesnt want their.
