If theres somwhere undercover to sleep so I don't need a tent i'm up for it, Nov can be fairly cold, or a full 24 hr battle, with a rest area just encase, I only need about 4 hours sleep,

Both events are camping but the 'operations' will have some buildings to sleep in and 'Normandy' is set in woods with some well covered clearings so tents are protected from the elements. Also you can have fire pits almost anywhere you like with in the main camping areas.
Early nov last year and the year before were realy mild. I try to run something at this time of the year because of the cool sites that become availible out of the summer season and the weather has'nt gone tits up yet :)

se below detail to both events taken from the Iron Eagle link.

Ok, final details for IRON EAGLE
2 events this year and 4 next year.

Oops! What a knob I am. I thought you were talking about Wotan. Doh!

The gun rules will possibly be the same.

IRON EAGLE

The basic rules

All Soldiers start with 2 bandages / hits! Any friendly player can heal the first and second hit by tying one of the injured players bandages to their arm. On the third hit the soldier is a KIA.
If the soldier has more than 2 hits due to being a veteran, they can take more wounds (carry more bandages for themselves) and can be healed more times before KIA
When out of hits the wounded player must return to their CP and go to the medical tent for 10 minutes be registered as KIA (Killed In Action) and return as a new two hit grunt.
Welcome to the FRONT LINE soldier.

When shot the soldier makes the load call of

I'm bang up for this, if my kameraden are!? Sounds like it would take fair, mature play to make it work, though.

We will be selling around 100 tickets next week at War and Peace and are looking for peeps that really want the experience of the battle as well shooting some guns. Once we have some idea of the units attending, we can start to put together the many missions that both sides will be given over the weekends. The one thing we can garentee is an amazing weekend.

Any rules amendments, if any (very few, call it tweeking) will be done at the end of July.

I'm planning on going, will be taking the Landy if you're up for it - although given the time of year I think we'll be putting the top up.
