A few of us were discussing attending an open day during November as there aren't any ww2 games that month. The idea being we all descend upon a site in our best gear and show the modern lot how it's done. Could be a great chance for recruitment to the hobby too.

This is an open invitation for the whole community.

The game will take place on Sunday 13th November at RIFT in Banbury. We will be paying on the day but if you're interested then please post with your full name so I can add you to the booking list. We need to be on site by 9:00am and the cost for the day is £25.

Address details:
Calves Close Spinney
Culworth Road
Chipping Warden (near Banbury)
South-Northamptonshire
OX17 1LZ

Please see the website for further details, rules and fps limits: http://www.riftairsoft.com/content.php

Booking list:
Ralph Geddes
Charlie Bennett
Matthew Watts
Andy Chell
Martin Rapier
Ian Stanley
Ben Rycroft-Stanley
Lutz Johnen
Jay Seven
Stuart Worrell
Jim Homer
Peter Twamley
Bradley Drake

Regards,

Ralph

I'm in, though may be a late committer as I'm fairly busy in November...but if I'm free, I'll make it :good:

I'm provisionally up for this, nothing planned for November at present at least. Keep up posted

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

I've never been to an open day...

I know I'm now free on the weekend of 12th - 13th!

Cheers
Charlie

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

I can probably do this, I'm in Essex, so a 150 mile radius is ok for me.

Midlands area for general fairness?!

Weekend 12/13th would probably be best for me - but i'd still be a hesitant maybe at the mo - you guys decide what's best for everyone and I'll try and make it if I can.

This seems like a good date to aim for. Anyone know any good sites in the Midlands?

Ralph

stormforce already has a nice assortment of ww2 regulars, (inc myself, ash, homer, chell, toby and a smattering of others who have the kit but i never seem to be able to convince to come to the milsims) we need to try and spread the bug somewhere new. Any suggestions for other sites further down the M1?
