I think like many on here we would express an interest in such an event but we need more info.
If you are going to post up details of Rules Ammo Limits event times (i.e 24 Hour mils Sim is it 24hours sleeping in the field etc.) This needs to be done ASAP or you will either get 101 silly questions or people will just switch off as you are a new member and there are no firm details of the event.
Look forward to updates
PS Forgot to mention the site looks awesome

Although new on here I've been organising events with IED & TFBK for a few years so planning so far is :
he game is a full 24hr event and once on-site the main gates will be locked - players wishing to leave early will need to arrange with "Control" to have the gates unlocked
We have a facebook page with numerous photos of the site (if okay to link?)
OP Zander
Time: 12:00hrs Saturday – 12:00hrs Sunday
Location: MoD Facility Piddington, Bicester
Allied Start Position: Le Bas de Montifiquet 30 points
German Start Position: Litteau 30 points
Objectives Le Rue Cudeville 10 points
Montifiquet 20 points
Le Chateau 20 points
Le Mensil 20 Points
Herouville 20 points
La Londe 10 points
Supply Drop 10 points (15 x Thunderflash, 10 x Smoke 5,000 .25g bbs)
Mine Field Supply 10 Points (6 x Trip mines)
Background
After the initial success of the Normandy Landings the Allied forces became bogged down in the network of small lanes and hedges known as Bocage Country. At up to 5m high and difficult to break through because of the torturous root structure forming the hedge, these natural barriers and sunken lanes favored the defensive action that the occupying German troops had trained for during the past four years. The weather had not been particularly helpful either so that even when open ground was reached by Allied armor it had to move slowly to avoid becoming bogged in the sodden earth.
“Every hedge was a fortress” one British tank commander noted
“Around every corner it felt like a German anti-tank team was waiting” stated an American tanker
Operation Zander

Allied Forces Objectives – Push South West – take and hold key positions

Rules
Ammunition Spring Bolt Action Rifle - 200 Rds max 500 fps - 30m M.E.D
AEG SMGs (Mp40 Thompson Sten etc) 300 rnds – 350 fps
Support Weapon Must be deployed either on bipod on a wall, tree stump or over crew-members shoulder and manned by 2 crew. 500 rnds in magazine and
500 rnds carried – 350 fps
AEG Assault Rifles (Garands & Stg44)- 300rd – 350 fps
Side Arms – 1 magazine max 350 fps
Grenades: Max 2 grenades & 2 Smokes per man. Grenades have a 5m Instant 2 hit rule – needing medic back in.
Hits & Medic All players carry 1 x Field bandage (supplied) – Upon 1st Hit the player will shout loudly “HIT” then get down and out of the way of further
harm. Any team mate can medic him back in by applying the hit players own bandage and tying it around the arm. This can take as long as
necessary to perform safely. They will keep this bandage on until returning to HQ for a break/brew/bomb-Up or as “Dead Man”
If hit again while wearing 1 bandage then ONLY the squad Medic can apply a 2nd bandage and providing the medic has enough Sulfa Powder
capsules remaining. These will be sachets of sherbet that will need to be consumed and taken with water before the medic gives you the okay to
continue. If he is out of Sulfa then he will still need to patch you up with a 2nd coloured bandage before allowing you to go back to HQ and
respawn – leaving coloured bandage in a collection area.
Once the Medic is out of Sulfa and coloured bandages he must return to HQ to replenish their supply. Switched on Medics in this game are going to be a key to
success. Remove your headwear and walk back to HQ - no conversations along the way DEAD MEN DON’T TALK
Radios WW2 comms were poor, very few radios – each squad will have 1 Radio Op player with Baofeng radio and each HQ will also have a radio – but
that will be it
Scoring Each will start with their HQ and nearest position – the main thrust of the 24hrs will be to take and hold objectives. An objective will only be considered held if
more than 4 players occupy the building & immediate position.
Marshalling Marshalls will be embedded in each side and not wearing high-viz vests. It is a game of honesty and spoilt by cheating so repeat offenders for not taking a hit
or other cheating will just be asked to leave.
CQB All skirmishes in the vicinity of buildings will be single-shot/semi auto only. Firing out of a building will be semi-auto only. Suppressing fire onto the building
from distance can be full auto.
Game Play From "Game On" to "End Ex" the whole game area will be in play. During the evening the two H.Q buildings will be considered as "Bed Ex" areas and will not be
attacked or fired upon during set times so if players wish to get some sleep they are safe from attack. There is hard cover breeze-block compound buildings that
can easily sleep 15-20 players but hopefully the bulk will want to play the full 24hrs
