In principle yes and as Josh has and does successfully run games at Eversley in Hampshire the general area is not a problem and people can be prepared to travel. I suspect however that the number of immediate responses may be a few as people prefer to have much more detail before committing, particularly if they have to travel. I think you are better of determining the event you want to put on rather than trying to mould it around the few people who may respond to a vague enquiry.
However I for one appreciate any effort and desire to add another game to the calendar. To answer your other question I can uniform as British, American or Russian, rifle or SMG.

it's a good site, not too far from me so I'd be interested in a good game.
i can do British infantry or airborne and German infantry or airborne.
i can bring either rifles ,smg's or support weapons to both sides.
it may be worth contacting the forum admin as they often have dates that are pencil'd in for games that have not yet been posted up and it would be a shame to have a clash on the dates.

If it looks like a goer, maybe the thing to do is add it as an actual 'event', like Fritzs Bastogne game last year. I'm not sure how many are gong to commit until there are some actual details, like dates.
Anyway, Hampshire is a haul for me but Ill come down if it looks like a good event.

Depends more on when you are planning it really.
