Getting pretty excited, since I've had time to get ready this week. Still need to think about food, but I have most things ready-ish. I will be buying one or two bits of kit at the event (always a plus), and possibly even picking one up en route.

At a steady 7.8

I'm at an 6 at the moment, I took the last patch off my jackets last night, and i'll be a solid 8-9 once I get the rest of these ammo boxes made!! :) (only 20 more to do!)

All packed and ready to go though :)

Only about a 6 at the moment, mostly packed, food to get and batteries to charge. Have got my Tanaka firing comfortably below 350 so hopefully wont need the MP40.

Wont be able to make the social as the sitter for my dogs not available this weekend :( therefore will travel over in the morning.

As Ranj says, pretty high...

Though on a downer as I spent an hour last night trying to find the broken zippo that I've now got the spare parts to fix. Still not found it. Completely unrelated to the game, but losing stuff always pisses me off.

last night I drew a list up of all things I need to get done (where do they all come from)today and I think, scientifically, it is known as a metric fuckton of stuff. So I am back down a little. Maybe a 5/6 now.

3, maybe 4. I don't get excited much.

I haven't even looked at my kit yet, though I did plug my battery into the charger on Wednesday.

Well, I'm looking forward to this a great deal although curiously unprepared - maybe because it isn't a weekender, I don't have to think about food or shelter, no great distance to travel, time on Saturday to actually pack the car.

Still, a bunch of batteries are charged and the uniform is out of the garage and warming up/drying out in the house so it isn't that I'm not bothering to prepare!

Boxes complete, as a reward I'm cranking up the E-O up to 8-9 as promised :)

Just got back from Cumbria today and finally managed to change the spring in my rifle, so hopefully below 350 now. Batteries charged, but still some uniform bits to sort out and need to figure out the best driving route. Google maps seems to think driving through the middle of Nottingham is a good idea. Oh well.

Call it 6.

Cheers
Martin

Yes Martin, Google maps shows that route (even for me in south Derby) - A52 Nottingham/W Bridgeford but I'd suggest carrying on down the M1 to J24 Kegworth, A6, A6006 to site. That's what my satnav says too and it has never cocked up yet!

I'm coming via Nottingham too, as I have to do a deal for a new gun from there before heading to the site. Still waiting for some excitement to rise and, I'm sure it will once I've got my tarp up, fire lit and, opened my first can of beer up!
