Right shall we do an up to date list of who is going to this one?
I have now recruited Sinead and Paul for this too, using the Brit kit they got for Ariel. So that's four already.
However, looking at Gunman's numbers it looks like the germans are pretty heavily outnumbered at the moment.
Thinking outside the box, how about we do Josh a favour and all go as german for this one? Josh does kit hire which I'm sure he will throw in for no extra if I ask him nicely and I know a few of you guys have german gear anyway.
I know the four of us could easily just swap on our own but I would like S&P to play alongside the PBI chaps and especially with Gadge's leadership to show them how much fun it is when done properly!
Just a suggestion, what do people think?
It doesn't bother me unduly,I would rather play german than have the game fall apart, that said having gone to a fair expense to play allied I have ended up playing my last 3 games as a german because there wasn't enough germans.I would rather wait and see if the numbers get better before I commit to changing sides, plus I was hoping to be "motorised" for this one ,and its going to look a bit silly if I end up playing german.
Well I think it would be a shame for PBI to get split up for this one as the first time we all can play as Hallams...
I certainly won't be playing German.
A noble idea Barrie, WW2 airsoft needs more people like you!
Looking at the booking for "Caen", the Germans are 27 players behind the allies. Even if all of PBI switched sides to German, it'll still mean they're 18 or so behind the allied side and, the allied side will lose the only historically accurate unit there. I've been wrestling with my conscience about this game and whether I should come or not, because Josh is a nice chap and Sennybridge is a unique area to play on but, I couldn't play as German if I did come.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Josh's games have been unappealing to the Germans since DDay+2. Allies always seem to consistantly outnumber Germans , not sure why , perhaps the Germans are more bothered by authenticity than the Yanks ? Something for them to consider , or work out a way of bringing in new less bothered Germans .
Sennybridge is OK for airsoft , but you'd have to work your imagination hard to think for a moment it was not the modern day .
Josh does try to write scenarios to compensate for the imbalance of sides. Trouble is that certain Allied players seem unable to follow orders and constantly go off-piste looking for things to shoot at
I'd not want to split PBI up either and reducing the ammount of brits especially hallams at this seems daft.
I wonder if the US players could be persuaded to use Joshs german hire kit and swap sides.
That would kill two birds with one stone.
1. Even up the sides pretty much perfectly
2. Make it more accurate as brits vs germans.
Still nowt to do with me, im just going to go there and have fun.

why are we even debating this? surely if there is a massive side imbalance its for josh to sort out, not us? i aint getting paid to marshal it so its not my problem.
if it gets balanced i will come as hallams, if not i wont come, no problem.
i dont have money to waste atm, so i will pick my games carefully this year. as awfull as this sounds i will go to the games that offers me the best deal for my minimum wage, 25 hours a week, hard earned brass.
seriously, i now earn much less a week than i used to earn in a morning. i aint wasting my maybe 4-5 games this coming year.
I wonder if the US players could be persuaded to use Joshs german hire kit and swap sides.
Would be a nice thought, but the chances of that happening are somewhere between zero and lower. I do agree with Nige - it is not up to participants to sort the problem out.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Agreed hence my line
'nowt to do with me, i'm just going to go and have fun'!

why are we even debating this?
Er, whoops, that would be down to me. OK, bad idea, my fault.
It's not a problem anymore anyway as a few more germans have booked on and actually paid numbers are about even.
This is now officially a non-issue.
OK
