Fantastic day, great fun and lots learnt. Thanks for organising it chaps, much appreciated and very much enjoyed.
Most important thing I think I learnt? Have all your bracken pointing in the same direction.
When's the next one then?

WOW! how do you have a full on airsoft day without firing a shot? - You have a training day like this one! What a day. We loved it Jez fell asleep on the way home he was so exhausted and i am more tired than i i am after a normal game. Absolutely brilliant day on every level, loved all the sneaking about esp the recc mission. This proved the point that properly done, training is an essential part of airsoft if you want to get better at it. Pete adapted real world techniques for the closer ranges of airsoft perfectly, also bearing in mind that most of us are not uber fit young recruits. I thought that the way one excersise was layered over the previous one was brilliant, and the final challenge was difficult but not unachievable. Well done to Gadge and Evo for doing all the spotting - i bet you wish you were crawling around in the undergrowth with us!
I learned so much especially that - Tiredness can kill is true on the airsoft field as on the road...... when youre tired you make mistakes, and mistakes get you killed. patience.
more please you could make a career out of this Pete....
oh yes - you already have lol!
thanks again Brilliant day and thanks again for your hospitality.
Had a superb day, it almost seemed a shame to fire my rifle at the end of the day, I loved all of the crawling around! (Although this morning my legs looked like I'd been chucked across a cheese grater.
Best thing for me was moving up to, and sitting 30 feet from the Enemy OP during the "bouncing" exercise, after having crawled about 150 feet on my belly, the last 40 of which doing the kitten crawl... a number of times I thought Jeremy had spotted me but didn't non-the-less. When the enemy moved out, they walked within about 15 feet of me, no-one saw me! I was panting very hard at this point, no doubt goggles would have very much been steamed up.
Although I was suprised that more people didnt come to this, I liked the very focussed tuition from Pete, Gadge and Evo.
Thanks again guys for a great day! Was loving wearing the south staffs full battle order kit (+ brown mug), and still remaining hidden and (notso)dangerous! ![]()

Once I get my rifle, I will definitely be up for another one like this.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
I can't agree more; one of the best days airsofting I ever had despite not firing at a live target all day! I'm aching all over and my hands and knees are full of thorns but I'd do it again straight away. Those who decided not to attend should really be kicking yourselves for missing this one.
The training very well structured, building up layer by layer with theory followed by an exercise so you can put into practice what you've just been told. Each exercise getting progressively harder, forcing you to really think about what it was you were trying to do. I feel like I've learnt a great deal, all of which was well adapted to make it highly useful in an airsoft scenario.
I'm struggling to pick out a highlight because I enjoyed it all so much although my low point has to be getting spotted during the 'bouncing' exercise. I'm still kicking myself about it now, especially as it meant we had to crawl down that damn ditch a second time!
Its testiment to the quaility of the day that was put on though that the worst thing about it was a cock up that I made! One that was made clear to me as to why I was spotted so that I would not do the same thing again.
A big thankyou to Pete, Gadge and Evo for running this and roll on the next one.
You can put me down for that straight away, hopefully with some more work on marksmanship.

I already am.
(blimmin' kids' birthday parties...)

Likewise for Carly and I, only next time, +insect repellant, - a bit of hop
