I'm glad everyone seems to have enjoyed it! It was certainly a different type of day. I certainly learnt a lot, and hopefully my observation skills will have improved a little, at least! Not having a 'shooty' element to the day certainly meant that you had more time to concentrate on working solely on the skills that Pete was teaching.
Thanks to everyone for their full attention and 100% effort for a full 8 hours, and especially to Pete for a really worthwhile day's training.
Judging by the feedback we've had, we certainly hope to put on other events like this in the future, and hope to see you all there!
I'd just like to add my thanks to Gadge, Evo and especially Pete for a great day, if you do another one count me in
And an extra thankyou to Pete & his missus for their hospitality, having a chance to clean up and have a hot meal before travelling home was very much appreciated .

Thanks Pete. It seemed like the least we could do, what with me living so close to the site. I bet you were barely halfway home by the time I was on my 6th can of Stella!
The positive feedback is very much appreciated guys. I was unsure if such a full on training day would work but it looks like it was paced about right for the subject matter to sink in before exhaustion took over!
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
It was an amazing day pete..... really - ive dug out all the old scout manuals..... more fieldcraft....more fieldcraft....more fieldcraft....
