With two events on the horizon to

a ) promote

and

b ) hand em out at.

How realisitic would it be to get some promo leaflets done by Arnhem seeing as we have some great promo shots from both events.

I have no idea what production costs would be but be worth sending say 200 to five prominant shops around the country.

I will ask t'boss tommorow, and speak to someone I know who owns a printing company. The expensive bit tends to be the design on small runa, so if thats covered, it wont be too much.

Because not *everybody* uses or has access to the internet regularly

I'd imagine theirs probably dozens to a hundred players out there who dont know what were doing.

Easy to imagine everybody read ascuk or arnies but its not the case is it.

Like i say remember that guy in the US airborne kit we met at phoenix urban who lived in derby or whatever but never used forums.

100 flyers on the counter at 6mil, wolf armouires and airsoft armouries could get us loads of new players.

It's a good point. When I ran FireFight Reading a couple of years ago, I carried out a straw poll on the subject. Only 25% of the players that day EVER went on any Airsoft forums or news pages...

What about a couple of large posters as well?

I'll get one of the posters down to 6mil.

Re leaflets:f you think back to the BotB event that is exactly what I did anyway - however, the people we need must have acces to the internet as it isn't possible to put all the info they need on a leaflet.

While a bunch of leaflets on a counter may help - we have done pretty well with word of mouth, personal contact, search engines, forums, magazine, web sites and so on - and it costs nothing. It's not like we are scrabbling around for players, and given time the network will grow naturally.

No i totally agree but i think that knowing its there and having an initial non internet point of contact migth encourage folk to get online and have a look. Its knowing its actually there if you get me.

I was just thining if its a long term investment of

Hah, that's Yellow Pages pitch too! I would expect a 400% return on investment (says me with my marketing head on)!

This has got me thinking. Whats more effective. Flyers on a counter, or some big posters on the walls? - some breathtaking scene from a game, staged shots - whatever!

CW has his marketing head on, what say you on the subject? :D

Way ahead of you! Posters already done, and are on display at Phoenix Urban and Woodland. As I say, I'll get one over to 6mil.

We can spread the net wider if you like for CR since we are nearly sorted for Arnhem.

There are pictorial 'business' cards already done which we have been handing out - if you want any Kermit then PM me your address.
