After discussions with Paul Monaf from AI mag i can happily announce that he has asked me to be a new staff writer on the magazine.

I'll be doing a 2 page wwii kit column each month for the magazine.

I'd appreciate it if we keep this quiet form the player base until its all in motion but i wanted to let you guys know - Kermit knows already. :)

I can only see this as being great getting regular wwii coverage in the mag.

As i say want to keep his relatively quiet although I'm incredibly excited in case something unforeseen prevents it happening, I'll let the rest of the world know once the first article ha been approved!

Cheers

G

After further discussion i'll be covering:

Introduction to WWII airsoft
Kit guides
'how to guides' such as 'how on earth does webbing fit together'
Game reviews
and pretty much anything else WWII related.

Still looking for a snappy title for the column, currently working on 'our (or their) finest hour' we like 'what price glory' but jerry might not be happy f we called it that.

Weapons are still kermit's bag :)

you're fucking right they are lol.

Bloody hell, i've just worked out how long i've been doing this now. Almost 4 years since we started working on it. And to think, Safezone only lasted 6 months lol

Well, this year, WW2 Airsoft will be getting major global coverage (mag is sold from the US to Thailand!), so it can only lead to more interest in the subject.

Hope Monaf is bracing himself for the onslaught of complaints - 'AI magazine is all bloody WW2. We want more pimped M16's and Future Warrior stuff - not old gits.'

Awesome stuff...

Ask Pete about the T-shirt he's made... he wore it all round Stoneleigh on Sunday.

Had that same pic on it along with the PBI and CIA forum banners... :)

What's on page 66? Some more picture of D-Day it seems.
