Right, ever wanting to do something a bit different i had an idea at IED for different game but similar to CR.
I would like to organise a Russian front game.
Now i'm aware only about five airsofters have russian kit but I think we could do it thus.
Side one: Axis (as per normal)
Side two: Russian Partisans
The Russian side composes mainly of resistance style partisans (anyone can do it with any mix of weapons (capture and lendlease etc). The Russians are led by two or three commissars and include a proportion of red army regulars who are stragglers (to cover the few guys with Russian kit and we *know* a load of players will see this as an excuse to buy cheap Russian surplus!)
The game revolves around a static German outpost and similarly a small Russian hamlet.
Both sides have to patrol regularly to dominate ground and take prisoners

Hmm, I've been thinking about IED too. It's such an awesome site!
I was formulating a 'Last Stand of the Reich' game which could involve Ruskies, Brits and Yanks, with German civilians too.
Basically a fight to the death for a group of Germans surrounded by Allied forces.
You could do it as an overnighter with a light social, and small skills based games and shooting comps on the Saturday with the scenario gaming taking place on the Sunday to allow people to be there early enough to start games at 10am and finish at 4pm.
You know what having a bit of 'training and shooting' session in the morning would be great for those who arrive early etc.

We can get IED pretty much with little notice . The said they would be happy ot have us back again .

I think both sides have 'game camps' and then an end of night/time out harbour together?
Game camp would mean eye protection at all times so it could be attacked,
