Make us look good?

Make us seem like a motivated group of united orgnaisers?

I'm not entirely sure those comments do...

All tongue firmly in cheek , as are all the posts in that thread , unless you want to get upset by Steiner suggesting Allies smell bad .

It all helps building a sense of cameraderie .

What does, stating we were arguing about parades and water bottles and that some of the organisers didnt want to 'get on with gaming'?

I just dont see the milage in it.

It may be tongue in cheek... But it certainly does not help any sort of camerarderie.

Yet again its just one side dissing the other.... Which is a bollocks thing to do.

........From the man who refuses to play any other side than British ?

I can't answer for Stephen's comments.

I have my reasons for that...

But I don't "diss" the other players... period.

I dont see how not wanting to buy other uniforms equates to having a pop at each other on public sections?

Where as i to o feel that Rich is losing out somewhat by not playing alongside other player son other sides ai completely understand his reasons for not wanting to play germans, - you wouldn't get me in US kit unless it was *really* necessary i certainly wouldn't buy it.

I just thought it made us look like we bicker and argue a lot (which we do) but publically stating it wasn't clever.

When we've argued publicly in the past its been chopped and pulled. similarly is 'allied' player commented back there some feel it destroys the sanctity of 'private discussion'

lol... I'm also saying "diss" quite a bit. ARGH!

heh... on a side note I was watching an old movie on TV a couple of weeks ago... It was basically a forerunner of the Columbo type detective films...

But what clinched the case was the English criminal using the word "Pal" and giving away that he had been talking to an american rather a lot recently.

Um , no re read my post several times now and can't see any mention of other CiA organisers at all , unless someone is stich counting his boxers  The comment about the singing was true .

Steve's
few of us in there
I read
as few of us players on the allied side in their private forum

but I suppose could be construed as a few of the organisers ?

Re banning us posting in each others private forums I suggested to you not to do it and you reasoned it was legitimate as an organser, which I've no real issue with one way or the other.

Jesus F*****G Christ. Chill out.

It's light hearted banter. Thats all. Yes, there are some digs in there (which aren't neccessarily untrue), but in no way is it a character assasination.

It was definitely meant as 'us Allies' as was meant as a light hearted dig at those who chose to spend more time sourcing the correct piece of kit for a specific day of a specific battle rather than actually reading the briefing, it wasn't aimed at any of the organisers. I was actually thinking about Speirs when I wrote it.

However, in hindsight, the water bottle thing does ring true to the recent purchases thread and I will delete the offending article if anyone wants me to.

It's all meant as a bit of a laugh isn't it?

Well when I read it I guessed something must be missing... it seemed out of character somehow.

Its probably too late now to backtrack or edit... I can only think of damage limitation now...

"Damage limitation" my ass. I'll repeat what I said earlier. In a list, so its simple for everyone to understand:

1: Chill Out
2: It's light hearted banter
3: In no way is it a character assasination.

All clear? Good. Time to move on to the next issue....

Ah, I just have a lot of sour grapes over the CR 'Moses Moment' (Exodus - geddit!?) and have lost patience with people who'd rather post threads and threads of stuff about kit and then turn up for The WW2 Airsoft Event of the Year So Far without the right kit, without reading the kit list, without reading the scenario and without reading the rules.

Thats most Airsofters for you. "Sod reality, lets get the flash stuff before the basic stuff"

How many sites have we all seen that occuring at?
