Have you seen Josh's new game?

Dunkirk with added SAS... :ghey:

I have pointed out to him that they didn't exist then in a PM.

It's not new - he posted it up a while ago then disappeared but it's been on his forum. Since it's one of his 'Secret missions of WW'2 games I don't think accuracy is high on the agenda!

As far as im concerned i dont mind as it appeals to the sort of player i really dont want at a PBI game.

There is obviosuly a market for it though or they woudlnt keep running them

Road to caen looked well attended on the allied side, at least 40 peeps i'd say.

Fucking hell, those brits need a crash course in how to get bloody dressed let alone look like soldiers

Shoddy.

I'm glad PBI have standards, i'd have been embarassed to have played on the brit side there.

Gadge, your links didn't work (CWs did)... it asked me to logon to facebook... since I don't, and never will, have an account there I can't...

BTW... it's laziness on Josh's part... if he wanted to do a sequence of secret missions there'd be no issue at all... People were doing wierd shit even at that time of the war, just not under any sort of specific banner.

For instance, this is the time that Calvert was trying to blow up dive bombers with depth charges!

LOL I agree , HS summed it up IIRC as Josh's games are for the cocknoses....

Those American wankers ( E Coy?) have disappeared from here so they can go and look shit and act like tossers at Gunman, don't think any of us care frankly .

Right im going to be a snobby elitisttwat now but....

Obviously covered in glue and thrown into his clothes... i know 40s soldiers often looked dishevled but this is a pre game pic and he looks in total fucking rag order.

To me that would wreck my suspension of disbelief.

To be honest mate... some of our PBI lads who didn't make it to the training day are almost as bad.

Horus needed a lesson on how to put on 37 pat webbing when I met him at FSA. Hopefully he has it right now.

Yup but part of thepoint of the training days is to get a solidering mentality into the players.

We can show them how stuff was carried, what was worn, how it was worn, how they spoke and acted etc.

As Guy has pointed out its not so much the kit you wear but how you wear it... on another pic one of the guys has *two* mugs hanging of his small pack... does he have a chuffing tea addiction or something...

LOL yes ...so that means not many Germans and not many Brits, as both seem to avoid Joshes games ....so it'll have to be 101st , even though they were created by then . :ghey:

What amuses me about the Dog Company guys is that they purport to be so great.

Take one look at them and they're a mess. I love the way they pack out all their bags and pockets with rags and newspaper to make it look full!!

heh... a common trick done by poor re-enactors...

I try not to do it and have had my pockets checked by a friend re-enactor once who gave an approving nod afterwards.. :)

Heh... my doughboy pack doesn't have the correct stuff in it, but does have a WWI US blanket instead. :)

Typical of Josh's wankers really. No surprise they look like a sack of shit.

By the way, posted this elsewhere. Someone mentioned that the breach on Josh's PAK blew up in their faces.

This is the second time this has happened at one of his games. It's only a matter of time before his pikey-built props hurt someone.
