Back to the original post a couple of thoughts

200 players .....feck........we need to think how we could do this in terms of marshall........quality of players and kit could be suspect ...

Winding mags - seems a bit of a distraction TBH sure it could be sorted

DDay in November ........FFS , it was in June boys, warm etc .

I don't want to ruin our CiA rep with an event run by other people . if they are just looking for advice in return for 6 free tickets thats a different matter .

All questions that need resolving - anyone volunteering to see what is on Josh's mind?

The Welsh site doesn't appear to be anything directly to do with him, anyone any idea what the site is normally?

No idea, only site i can think of in South Wales is at RAF Caerwent.

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Dragon Valley? RAF Caerwent site doesn't extend to the coast though. Damn, I'm intrigued!

I've spoken ot Josh , it sounds ...interesting . He's keen to have us work with him/ run it for him . He's also keen to have quality, I told him if we were involved we would want to do it right .
I have suggested a meeting in Nottingham as thats central to where we all are (he's Cambridge) , how does everyone feel about this ? Perhaps we can discuss more at Caen .

The site is not an airsoft site, but private land he has been using for LARPing about on .

As per telecon Guy, sounds very worth persuing and see how far we get on our terms. If it doesn't work out as a CiA event then no reason why we can't support it as we are with Rob and Warren.

More speaks at Caen.

LOL - one of the things to discuss , however he's been running LARP events for 15 years so guess he's got that one covered. We'll find some time to discuss at Caen , and then maybe meet up with him shortly afterwards in Notts. ?

BTW are you the Brit commander for Caen Richard?

I can't make Caen I'm afraid.

I'm in Gloucester. You can tell people that I've been sent back to the US on a War Bonds PR drive. ;)

I take it you're happy for us to have a detailed discussion in absentia though?

Re this game, please don't get too involved in discussing things like the hi cap rule on the open forum, as we can sort these things out if we get involved .
The discussion I had with Josh went along the lines of we would use our rule sets not theirs, in which case this is a non issue , especially when he realised how many players he could loose .
Bottom line of this appeal is I don't want us to put people off before we've decided whether we are involved or not .
