Just a quick note to thank you Gadge for the time and effort you put in to the training day, given all the shit that went on last week. OK, it wasn't exactly what you wanted to do but at the end on the day everyone learned something, everyone enjoyed the day. So, a bit more bonding done, a bit more getting to know the players and two of us representing CiA - job well done Gareth.
Observations: John M enjoyed his first WW2 outing, Lewis was a bit taken aback at first but soon got into the swing, Webby was relaxed and enjoyed the day, I got a bit more time to have a proper chat with Barrie and Anne, Ewart got his first WW2 contact since BotB - his new job should allow him to kit up a bit more, AndyT and Jez looked a bit fazed by it all, this being their first contact with airsoft but said they enjoyed it all at the end of the day. SteveD was very chatty (how many guns does a bloke need?). Tony was his usual entertaining self. Oh, and I love Helga. There, I said it. 
Major was in his element (50g charge!!) and Sy has now worked himself up into doing WW2. Steiner acted as Section Leader for the Heer so I hope that has boosted his confidence in leadership. I didn't get round to chatting to Dieselmonkey or CHThree I'm afraid. Oh, and JD7 made it after travelling from Aberdeen, there's dedication.

I think part of me was a little scared that i wouldnt remember how to do some of it after eight years 
Had some good chats with the players and feel we were really getting some cameraderie going on the allies, made sure i had a chat with webby and tried to utalise him as a 'reliable linch pin' in some of our tactics so i could build a better relationship with him and play alongside him for once.
Lewis completly suprised me as being actually a very nice lad with some good well thought opinions which are sadly lacking in a lot of 16 year olds. We had a very amusing chat with him on the way home, hes very likeable when you get to know him.
i think he just has a lot of 'laddy' peer pressure to live up to.
I think we should definatley ask Chris to do another one of these, i'd help all i could in whatever capacity.
