Regardless of how you feel about this, it is *not* going to make us look good in any light to the casual bloke stumbling across out site.
Given oDdballs occasional right wing references and the nature of guys running around in replica nazi uniforms i dont know if its entirely wise to leave that up.
I'm not personally offended by it (i dont agree with it either btw) i just can see lots of opportunity to back fire and none for it making us look good.

Tend ot agree, better to veer on the side of caution ; as i posted, it's very close ot the line . Having lived in Thornbury in Bradford for a short while 15 years ago, IMHO it's totally true .

God knows what it was, but there's been quite a few racist comments on this site. Things like "it's people like them that..." and "they're all the same...." I mean, WTF is that all about.
I know one of my replies to one was deleted along with the offending article. I'm always one to challenge views like that rather than ignore them, but I have no problem with deleting stuff. Consensus and all that.
What I would like to do though, when deleting threads is to PM the person who posted it to inform them why and that we won't tolerate racism of any sort.
I was going to Beltring tomorrow, but I couldn't get to Gloucester for a dance today because of flooding and closed roads and with further warnings issued for the south-east I'm giving it a miss. At least it'll save me some money!

Stephen - Go by train if you want to get to Beltring. Well, you could go by car, but unless it has the words "Land Rover" on the side and "Simex Trackers" on the tyres you wont be getting out of the car park. It's like the fucking Somme down there!
Last year it was stupidly hot, this year the mud is about 3" deep in the trade area alone, and a fair bit worse where the tracked behemoths have churned it up.
