This would help us focus on what sites were *really* suitable for different battles and spread the knowledge, at the moment i can realisitically comment on about six sites in the UK...

These are a few of the sites ive played at. All in the South (i.e. anything south of Watford. anything north is barbarian country 
) these are the ones i reckon its "doable" at.
Site name: Combat South Woodland
Location: 15 mins drive North-West of Portsmouth
Owner/Promoter: Steve and Russ Banks
Ground type: Some broadleaf, some pine woods, a bit of a hill and some gullies. A few small open areas as well
Approx area: 70 Acres?
Special Features: Small village. A few decent size bridges. Fantastic watchtower and machine gun nest next to the "big" bridge. Awesome catering. Excellent car park. On-site toilets.
Recommended Historical Battles: Caen break-out?

Location: Eversley, Hampshire (1/2 hr from south London)
Owner/Promoter: Mark (Hustler)
Ground type: Typical Forestry Commision land
Approx area: God knows. Guess at 80 Acres.
Special Features: Couple of valleys, some boggy bits to keep you on your toes.
Recommended Historical Battles: Hurtgen forest, Ardennes offensive

Site name: Ground Zero
Location:Ringwood, Hants - about 1/2hrs drive from Southampton along the M27 then A31
Owner/Promoter: Neil (from Zero1)
Ground type: Mixed. LOTS of hills.
Approx area: Twice the size of F&O?
Special Features: Village, over a kilometre of Tunnels through the rhodedendrons, numerous bunkers.
Recommended Historical Battles: ETO - no specific ideas yet.

Notes: Vehicles can, and regularly are, used at this site. Weekend games not a problem. Potential problem is that Neil can be a bit of a tosser at times. Excellent catering.
Site name: CAGE Airsoft Fort Amhurst
Location: Chatham, Kent
Owner/Promoter: No idea.
Ground type: mixed woodland and run down medway fort
Approx area:20 acres. Small. but LOTS of possibilities.
Special Features: Numerous tunnels. Access to the large tunnel complex possible as well.
Recommended Historical Battles: Maginot line?

Location:Bordon, Hampshire. 1/2 hr north of Portsmouth

Special Features:The village. duh. Tunnel system under the village. multi-storey buildings, dug-in tracked static tracked armour, bridge
