Background:
The Ruhr. A sprawl of factories, power stations, machine shops and steel works

I like the overall plot
With twenty people as side though I'd forget about controlling strategic points. You've got three men for each point
. I'd make it more like a treasure hunt, finding the various parts in different locations to make the complete "wunder vepon" .
As you capture bits you must carry them with you or stash them , lots of opportunity to capture bits of the enemy etc etc game play add nasuem and doesn't end with a side camping on turf.
Loving the idea of a lab as well !
I like the Wunderwaffen idea as a sub plot. Keep em' searching. Some parts in obvious places, some not
The idea of having so many control points is that they have to pick and choose which ones they control. Probably better to drop the number to 5 though, from the listed 6. That way *someone* has to have the majority. They can try and control all 5 with 4 men at each one, but it'll be pretty much impossible. Controlling 3 with 15 of your men, whilst the other 5 search for the wunderwaffen is doable...
Oh, forgot to add, use the Arnhem two-sided cards to show possession at the end of the game?

Do both... physical objects to take and control points.
Sounds like a cracking plan so far.
Wonder if we can get the parts to make some mock ups of the futuristic weapons from the tamiya 'nachtjager' set.
I'm thinking the multiple surface to air panzerschrek for instance

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Sound great and complying fully with the K.I.S.S. rules.
One thing though, are you saying in your backround bit that the facility is in the Ruhr? If so, are we saying it's very late war with Allied ground troops moving into the area?

I've got a bloody brilliant cd for background ambiance
25 mins of rumbling, clanking and weird industrial plant/engine type noises. very atmospheric

Aye Stephen, very late war. I've been doing a bit of research, and it seems that when fighting through the Ruhr, the Allies were spending a lot of time looting German research and technical establishments at the same time as fighting the Germans. In fact, there are some cases of specialist teams assaulting specific research establishments before the main body of their respective armies had taken full control of the area.
Take Du Pont for example. Why did the company get so big, so quickly after WW2? Because a shitload of research papers that originated from BASF were given to them by the US Government. You name it. From synthetic dyes, to artificial fibres.
pointless fact of the day
When we were clearing out the old RAE North site @ Farnborough, we found shitloads of wartime dated German files from the RLM. Not to mention 2500 litres of Silver Nitrate in Eagle stamped drums. Wish i'd kept some of those papers now ![]()

OK.
Had a couple more ideas:
Along with search for the wunderwaffen, there could be a set of blueprints hidden in the CO's office that need recovering, and maybe an Enigma machine in the Comms room (fooked typewriter, and some bits and pieces)

Give me the nod and I'll look at an enigma machine
Nice prop to have .
Right guys, I need a total cost for this so I can write the press release and the intro for the booking thread.
Me, i'm voting for

Sounds reasonable

If you think

As far as i'm concerned, the props that will require building for this game are the following.
Signs
"Vampir" Gen 0 NV equipment prop
Blueprints (just blown up photocopies of some stuff I have at work)
