“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942
"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

Where'd you get you wolly pants from, webby. I'm struggling to find a place doing them for less than
SOF, platoon in Bury will do some, they're slightly cheaper than SOF too.
Can't get Platoon at work, will try when I get home.
Interestingly, had a look on atthefront, and the size 46 waist is the only size sold out for the '37 trews. Also, it's in big red letters that he doesn't make larger sizes. Bit of an indictment of American re-eanctors, and America in general, that one...
ah so by this point they are likely to have just been using the yank guns not the yank uniform. plus when they were equipped with it sounds like it would have been infantry kit. hrmm shame. Will dig into it a bit deeper and see if its doable.
Yes but their are photos of RM commando officers wearing M41 Jackets. Best thing to do is use brit bottoms and lid, then see what you have. Though obviously anything with any insignia on it allready is out.

Battledress... I have 37 pattern at the moment, but badged up wrong. I have a 40 pattern trousers so may get a 40 pattern jacket at Beltring.
Whichever way the badges will be for a commando unit. Still not decided which one, lol! I'll probably get patches for several at beltring, including No2.
Green beret with appropriate badge, for wearing in the safezone. Another thing to get at Beltring.
Tommy helmet for during the game...
Webbing will be standard 37 pat.
Boots: DMS
And a leather jerkin for poncing around the safezone in... lol!
Weapons will be Thompson 1928, Sten Mkv, M1911, PFC Enfield and M10.
Might bring the Garand, but maybe it's too long for CQB
If its the Marushin 8mm GBB version you wont be able to use it due to site power limitations.
